Cooking Step 1/4


  • 400 g  flour-2 tablespoons  baking powder-¼ teaspoon  salt-60 grams of  sugar-200 g  unsalted butter (cold)-250 ml  buttermilk (cold)

Preheat the oven to 220°C. Add flour, baking powder, salt and sugar to the bowl. Cut unsalted butter into pieces and use a fork to mix the flour mixture with butter until the initial dough is formed. Next, add cold cheese in portions and knead the dough.

  • 2 tablespoons  sliced   almonds-Flour (for sprinkling)-Buttermilk
  • Shallow bottom baking pan-Baking brush
Spread a layer of flour on the kneading panel to prevent sticking, put the dough on top and flatten it. Cut the dough into pieces and place them on the baking sheet. Brush some cheese with the spice, sprinkle some almond flakes, and bake for about 15 minutes.

  • 1  vanilla pod-250 g  strawberries-250 ml  cream-sugar
  • Knife-Chopping board-Handheld food processor with egg beater
Take vanilla pods and scrape out the vanilla seeds. Cut strawberries in half and sprinkle with some sugar. Add the remaining sugar and vanilla seeds to the cream and beat until firm.

Cut the puff pastry cake in half, add strawberries and whipped cream as a filling. The cake is garnished with a little more cream, berries and almond slices. Enjoy it!
